Make van sales and exhibition sales with a barcode scanner

PASS mobile sales is a PDA program designed to take sales orders and print receipts or invoices away from the PC then transfer the data on return. 

Examples of applications are sales at an exhibition or sales from a van. When the sale is made the price is retrieved automatically by the PDA and VAT receipt can be produced on a Bluetooth portable printer.The application on the PDA can be linked to PASS Stock or the data transferred to the PC as a text file.

If the sales are being made from existing visible stock from a van then a batch mode PDA is used to update PC on the return of the van to the warehouse. Once this is done a restocking report is produced and the banners restock with the quantities of items that have been sold. If it is necessary to determine the current stock availability at the warehouse then, a GSM wireless PDA is required.

The PDA downloads details of products and prices from the Pc and when in use the prices can be adjusted for any customer or item using discount functions. Invoicing can be done on the spot with a portable printer like the bluetooth hp470. Price labels can also be produced by the program linking to the same printer. There are label printer drivers for Zebra, Avery-Paxar, Tec, and Extech portable bluethooth printers with others to follow shortly.
